About Pensions at Prolific

All of our permanent UK employees are entitled to a pension through Prolific and are automatically opted in on their start date (unless you’re under the age of 22).

Our Pension provider is **Penfold** and all employees who are opted into a pension with them are automatically enrolled into their Pension Salary Sacrifice Scheme.

What is a Pension Salary Sacrifice Scheme?

Under a Pension Salary Sacrifice scheme, an employee agrees to give up the right to a percentage of their gross annual salary for pension contributions and Prolific also contributes a set percentage.

This results in employees not paying any national insurance on the amount they give up, and they can therefore add more to their pension pot while taking home more pay💰
