Prolific’s Flexible Working Policy

Our Flexible Working Policy should support employees in achieving a better balance between work and their other priorities, such as caring responsibilities, leisure activities, further learning and other interests.

We’ll do our best to agree to any flexible working requests as long as the needs of Prolific and the employee are met but it should be understood that some types of flexible working may not work for every role. In each situation, we’ll take into account a number of different things such as:

What is flexible working?

Flexible working is any type of working arrangement that gives some degree of flexibility on how long, where and when a Prolifico works.

We offer different ways of working that can be adjusted to fit each employee's needs. Below are the most common options, but we're open to considering other options or a combination of them that work for both the employee and us:


Every employee is entitled to submit one flexible working request within a 12-month period.

Under the Equality Act 2010, if an employee has a statutory entitlement to request additional reasonable adjustments, they are welcome to do so.

Our Core Hours

All we ask is that everyone is online between our core hours of 10:00-15:00 (UK time) so that everyone overlaps for the majority of the day, however, we can be flexible with this in certain situations
