To benefit our team's capacity to make fast decisions, and feel empowered to do the right thing by Whereby, we have implemented Revolut. With Revolut, we are all are empowered while our finance team is in full control over all company spending from a centralised tool.

Everyone in our team is expected to exercise good judgement with respect to company spending and expenses. In exchange for this trust, we ask that you report all expenses promptly and accurately with the required documentation within the month end of the spend being made.

Spending on Revolut

Revolut provides our company debit cards and lets you snap a photo or upload a pdf of your receipt.

• Wherever possible, use your Revolut card for all company expenses
• All receipts must be uploaded to the Revolut app by the end of the same calendar month
  • What does a good receipt upload look like? (toggle)
• Any non-company expenses paid with a company card will have to be reported to your manager as soon as possible and refunded in full within 30 days

When making a one-time or subscription purchase, you can use your personal Revolut card and any limits which have been set up as per below:

• Onboarding and remote working set-up: up to 2,000 USD / 2,000 GBP / 25,000 NOK once off on joining

  • You will be given a once-off limit depending on your location of work and role.
  • This may be increased on request and with good reason, simply ask the People team.
  • Appropriate use of this budget (some examples)
  • Inappropriate use of this budget

• Monthly rolling: 500 USD / 500 GBP / 5,500 NOK p. month

  • Everyone in our team has the above limit which can be spent without pre-approval if required (currency depends on your location)
  • Inappropriate use of this budget
  • This is refreshed back to the limit each month and does not accrue
  • Finance will audit these spends post-fact and come to you with any questions

Working Environment & Equipment Stipend

• Manager limit: 2,000 USD / 2,000 GBP / 25,000 NOK as required
  • If you are a leader of a team you will be capable of expensing to the limit per month which will be a once-off and refresh as required.
